The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire changed American culture in ways that are still being felt today. The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in New York City was happened on March 25, 1911. Most of the victims were recent Jewish and Italian immigrant women aged sixteen to twenty-three; the oldest victim was 48, the youngest was 11 year old Mary Goldstien. The cigarette caused the fire. Someone drop the cigarette on the 8th floor and that cigarette caused The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. People who most of them are young girls were died and burned. They already told the owners it will be happened someday. However, the owners didn’t change anything; like work conditions. When the fire saw the first time, (the first saw person is owner), the owner just go roof and never told workers.
